Lift Reset

Schindler Elevator :  RESET Procedures for Horizon Residence Apartment for MAN-TRAP situation only.

Disclaimer : Only trained personnel are allowed to perform the steps below.

(A) Identify the affected LIFT unit

Step 1 : Identify the affected LIFT unit’s control panel at MOTOR room .
Step 2 : Capture the ERROR CODE log on LCD display.

(B) Perform RESET#1 sequence

Step 1 : Rotate the JRH knob – clockwise to JRH mode
(inspection mode)
Step 2 : Push E-LOCK and rotate to release it.

Step 3 : Rotate the JRH knob – anticlockwise to NORMAL mode. Verify if the LIFT is working properly again.
If LIFT is still failing, proceed to RESET#2 sequence. verify


(C) Perform RESET#2 sequence

Step 1 : Rotate the JRH knob – clockwise to JRH mode
(inspection mode) again.

Step 2 : Push the RESET button indicated in the picture below(release after 1 second) and wait for 5 minutes.  Refer to the LCD display for the status.

LCD display – MEMORY RECALL COMPLETED. Move to next step.completed

Step 3 : Rotate the JRH knob – anticlockwise to NORMAL mode.

Verify if the LIFT is working properly again.
If LIFT is still failing, wait for Schindler support team to arrive.
Regular communication (intercom) is critical!! Inform the person trapped-in of the status and situation.
